(Guardian) A police officer appears to strike a protester in the face during a student occupation at the University of London's Senate House on Tuesday. Three demonstrators were arrested after a group occupied part of the university building in protest against private sector funding of the university, staff pay and plans to close the student union building. One protester was being questioned by police on Thursday on suspicion of assaulting an officer.
