My question is, why don't we see the same reaction from American civilians that we witnessed during the Vietnam War? Sure, there are much less deaths, but this war is going on at a time when the U.S. is drowning in debt and it's people are falling into poverty at astonishing rates. The only good news I found was that, 6 in 10 Americans continue to oppose the war in Afghanistan. Maybe Americans are waking up.
